This research theme supports the Institute’s think tank function by examining how research, historical knowledge, and social analysis inform policy-making, governance, and institutional decision-making.

Projects under this theme focus on evidence-based approaches to public policy, particularly in areas where historical context, cultural complexity, and social dynamics play a critical role. The Institute emphasizes analytical clarity, documented methods, and independence of judgment.

Custom-designed AI systems may be used to assist in evidence synthesis, comparative analysis, and structured assessment of policy-relevant materials. These systems are developed to support expert analysis while ensuring transparency, interpretability, and ethical oversight.
