Ethics, Inclusion, and Pluralism

IKRS recognizes that knowledge production is never neutral. The Institute is committed to ethical research practices, inclusivity, and pluralism in both human and computational methods.

Where relevant, IKRS engages directly with communities through documentation, dialogue, and research practices that respect lived experience, historical context, and cultural complexity. Inclusion is treated as an active practice shaping project design, not as a symbolic commitment.

Ethical considerations—including data protection, bias mitigation, and responsible representation—are integrated into research planning, AI system design, and educational activities from the outset.
